RECOMMENDED APPROACH

Sometimes the strongest answer isn’t one service. It’s getting the order right.

If the website needs work and visibility is also holding the business back, we’d strengthen the foundation first, then build the right traffic around it.

01 START HERE
WEBSITE

Strengthen the foundation.

Improve positioning, messaging, trust and the journey so the website is ready to convert the traffic you send to it.

02 BUILD VISIBILITY
SEO

Build sustainable visibility.

Create stronger organic visibility around the searches and opportunities that matter to the business long term.

03 ADD MOMENTUM
GOOGLE ADS

Reach demand sooner.

Use paid search where faster visibility makes sense while the longer-term organic strategy continues to build.

THE IDEA Build somewhere worth sending people before spending more to send them there.

Find out what’s holding your website back.

We’ll take a quick look at your website and highlight the biggest issues affecting your search visibility — plus where we’d focus first.

CONVERSION

More traffic won’t help if the website isn’t giving people a reason to act.

If people are already reaching the site, the next step is understanding what is stopping them from enquiring, buying or getting in touch.

01 MESSAGE

Is it clear why someone should choose you?

Strong positioning and clearer messaging help visitors quickly understand what you offer and why it matters.

02 TRUST

Does the website give people confidence?

Good design, proof and credibility signals help turn uncertainty into enough confidence to take the next step.

03 JOURNEY

Is the next step obvious?

Clear calls to action and a simpler path through the site reduce friction between interest and enquiry.

THE PRIORITY Fix what happens after the click before paying for more clicks.
Preparing your website quote…
WEBSITE / FOUNDATION

Having a website is the start. The question is whether it’s ready for growth.

SEO and Google Ads can both bring more people to your website, but neither can fix a site that is unclear, difficult to use or isn’t set up to turn visitors into enquiries.

01 SEARCH READY

Can Google understand it?

Clear structure, useful content and solid technical foundations give SEO something stronger to build on.

02 CONVERSION READY

Will visitors know what to do next?

Strong positioning, trust and clear calls to action help turn traffic into meaningful enquiries.

03 TRACKING READY

Can we see what’s working?

Proper conversion tracking helps us understand which searches, ads and pages are actually producing results.

THE FOUNDATION MATTERS Before we send more traffic, we want to make sure there’s somewhere strong to send it.
FAQS

A few things people usually ask.

From websites and ecommerce to SEO, Google Ads and ongoing support — here are some of the questions that come up most often.

WEBSITES
How much does a website cost?

It depends on the size, functionality and complexity of the project. Once we understand what you need, we’ll recommend the most practical approach and provide a clear estimate before work begins.

Can you redesign my existing website?

Yes. We first look at what is already worth keeping — including useful content, SEO value, URLs, functionality and brand assets — then rebuild the experience on a cleaner, more modern foundation.

Do I need to have all my content ready?

No. We can help shape the structure and messaging as part of the website process. What we need from you depends on the project and how much content already exists.

Will my website work properly on mobile?

Yes. We design and build responsively across desktop, tablet and mobile, with particular attention to readability, navigation, forms and important conversion points.

How long does a website take?

Timelines depend on the size of the site, functionality, content readiness and feedback turnaround. We’ll give you a realistic project timeline once the scope has been confirmed.

ECOMMERCE
Do you build in Shopify or WooCommerce?

We work with both. The right choice depends on your products, fulfilment, integrations, management requirements and how the business needs to operate behind the scenes.

Can you set up payments and shipping?

Yes. We can configure supported payment gateways, shipping methods and ecommerce settings as part of the build, depending on the requirements of the store.

Can you build custom ecommerce functionality?

Yes. Where an off-the-shelf solution isn’t enough, we can scope custom product options, integrations, workflows and other functionality around how the business actually sells.

SEO & GOOGLE ADS
What’s the difference between SEO and Google Ads?

SEO is focused on building organic visibility over time. Google Ads can put you in front of people searching sooner by using paid placements. For some businesses, using both makes sense.

How long does SEO take?

SEO is a longer-term process rather than an instant result. Timing depends on your current website, competition, search demand and the amount of work required to improve the site and its content.

Do Google Ads guarantee enquiries or sales?

No advertising platform can guarantee a sale. Our focus is on reaching relevant search intent, reducing wasted spend, tracking meaningful actions and improving campaigns using real performance data.

What if my website is the reason people aren’t converting?

Then we’d rather identify that before recommending more traffic. Messaging, trust, usability and conversion paths can all affect the results you get from SEO or paid advertising.

MAINTENANCE & HOSTING
Why does a WordPress website need maintenance?

WordPress, themes and plugins change over time. Regular updates, security checks and general site care help reduce compatibility problems, security risks and unexpected failures.

What maintenance plans do you offer?

Our Essential plan covers routine monthly maintenance, Care includes more frequent checks and hands-on website time, and Growth is designed for busy websites that need proactive support and ongoing improvements.

Can Wild Heart host my website too?

Yes. We offer managed website hosting and can also help move an existing WordPress website across where appropriate.

WORKING WITH WILD HEART
What are your website payment terms?

Website projects are generally split into a 50% deposit to begin, 25% at first review and the final 25% before the website goes live.

Can you continue helping after the website launches?

Absolutely. Hosting, maintenance, website updates, SEO, Google Ads and ongoing improvements can all stay with us after launch.

What if I’m not sure which service I need?

Tell us what isn’t working or what you’d like the business to achieve, and we can help work backwards from the problem rather than expecting you to know the technical answer.

STILL UNSURE? Tell us what you’re trying to solve and we’ll point you in the right direction.

FREE SEO AUDIT

Find out what’s holding your website back.

We’ll take a quick look at your website and highlight the biggest issues affecting your search visibility — plus where we’d focus first.

HOW WE WORK

Turn search intent into measurable action.

We work out what people are searching for, where the strongest opportunities are and what should happen after the click — then build campaigns around results the business actually cares about.

01 STRATEGY

Start with the goal, not the ad.

We look at what you sell, who you want to reach, where demand exists and which actions should count as a real result.

02 BUILD

Build campaigns around real search intent.

We structure keywords, targeting, ads and campaign groups around what potential customers are actually looking for.

03 TRACK & LAUNCH

Make sure we can see what happens after the click.

We set up meaningful conversion tracking and check that the ads, landing pages and customer journey are working together properly.

04 OPTIMISE

Use the data to keep making the campaign better.

We review searches, spend, conversions and performance, then refine targeting, ads and budgets around what is producing value.

WHAT WE WORK ON

Clicks are only useful when they lead somewhere valuable.

Strong Google Ads campaigns connect the search, the message, the landing experience and the conversion data behind it.

01

Search intent

Focus budget around the searches most closely connected to what your business actually wants to sell.

02

Campaign structure

Organise keywords, audiences, ads and budgets clearly so performance is easier to understand and improve.

03

Conversion tracking

Measure enquiries, calls, bookings, purchases and other actions that tell us whether the spend is working.

04

Ongoing optimisation

Reduce wasted spend, strengthen what converts and adjust campaigns as the data becomes clearer.

THE GOAL Less focus on clicks. More focus on the actions that actually matter to the business.
HOW WE WORK

Get found for the searches that matter.

We look at how your website is performing, what your customers are searching for and where the strongest opportunities are — then focus the work where it can make the biggest difference.

01 AUDIT

Find the gaps before we start fixing them.

We review rankings, site structure, technical setup, content and current visibility to understand what is already working and what is holding the site back.

02 STRATEGY

Focus on searches that matter to the business.

We research the services, locations and questions your ideal customers are actually searching for and build the strategy around real intent.

03 OPTIMISE

Make the important pages stronger.

We improve structure, headings, metadata, internal linking, content and technical signals so pages are clearer to both people and search engines.

04 MEASURE & GROW

Track what moves and build on what works.

We monitor visibility, rankings and opportunities, then refine existing pages or build new content where there is room to grow.

WHAT WE WORK ON

SEO works best when the whole foundation supports it.

Rankings are rarely about one isolated fix. We look at the technical site, the content people find and the intent behind the searches you want to appear for.

01

Search intent

Target the services, questions and locations your ideal customers are genuinely searching for.

02

On-page SEO

Improve page structure, copy, headings, metadata and internal linking around the searches that matter.

03

Technical foundation

Crawlability, indexing, performance, mobile usability and site structure all support stronger visibility.

04

Content & growth

Build or improve service pages, location pages, useful content and case studies where new opportunities exist.

THE GOAL Better visibility for the searches most likely to turn into real business.
HOW WE WORK

From products to purchase, we build the whole journey.

We look at how your business sells, how customers shop and what needs to happen behind the scenes — then shape the store around that.

01 UNDERSTAND

Start with how the business actually sells.

We look at products, customers, fulfilment, payments, shipping and what the store needs to achieve.

02 STRUCTURE

Choose the right platform and organise the journey.

Shopify or WooCommerce, categories, navigation, product structure and the path from browsing to checkout.

03 DESIGN & BUILD

Create a store that feels like your brand and makes buying easy.

Product presentation, mobile experience, payments, integrations and any custom functionality the store needs.

04 LAUNCH & GROW

Test properly, launch confidently and keep improving.

We check mobile, checkout, payments, forms and emails, then support the store as it grows.

BUILT AROUND HOW YOU SELL

More than a pretty shopfront.

The customer-facing experience matters, but so does everything needed to make the store practical for the business behind it.

01

Platform

Shopify or WooCommerce, depending on what actually suits the business.

02

Products

Simple products, variations, custom options and larger catalogues.

03

Commerce

Payments, shipping, checkout and the systems customers rely on to buy.

04

After launch

Hosting, maintenance, updates, SEO and continued ecommerce improvements.

THE GOAL Designed for the customer. Built for the business behind it.
HOW WE WORK

A clear process from idea to launch.

We keep the process collaborative, considered and straightforward — so you always know what we’re working on, what we need from you and what comes next.

01 UNDERSTAND

We start with your business, not the design.

We look at what you offer, who the website needs to speak to, what already works and what the new site needs to achieve.

02 STRUCTURE

We plan the journey before we make it beautiful.

We shape the pages, messaging, navigation and calls to action so visitors can quickly understand the business and move in the right direction.

03 DESIGN & BUILD

We turn the direction into a website that feels like you.

We create the visual experience, then build it responsively around your content, functionality and the way your business actually needs to work.

04 REFINE & LAUNCH

We fine-tune the details before anything goes live.

We work through feedback, test the experience across devices and make sure the site is ready — then help keep it moving after launch.

BUILT AROUND YOUR BUSINESS

More than a new coat of paint.

A strong website brings together messaging, design, functionality and the technical foundation underneath it.

01

Content & positioning

We help organise what the site needs to say, what matters most and how visitors should understand the business.

02

Responsive design

The experience is considered across desktop, tablet and mobile, rather than simply shrinking the desktop version.

03

Functionality

Forms, bookings, integrations, ecommerce and custom functionality are built around what the website actually needs to do.

04

After launch

Hosting, maintenance, updates, SEO and ongoing improvements can stay with the same team that built the site.

THE GOAL A website that looks considered, communicates clearly and gives the business room to grow.

Did you know?

If people are finding you but not enquiring, the website experience may be the bigger issue.

SEO or Ads work better when the site is clear, trustworthy and easy to act on.

People often judge the quality of a business by the quality of its website.

Clear services, locations and content help Google understand where you should appear.

Sometimes the answer is website + SEO, or website + Ads, rather than one isolated service.

We don’t want to recommend a rebuild, SEO or Ads until we understand what’s actually holding you back.

GROWTH / DIAGNOSIS

More enquiries starts with finding where the journey is breaking.

If leads are low, the answer isn’t always more traffic. We first look at whether the problem is visibility, traffic quality or what happens once people reach the website.

01 VISIBILITY

Not enough of the right people are reaching you.

If demand exists but visibility is low, SEO or Google Ads may be the first place to look.

02 RELEVANCE

You’re attracting people — just not the right people.

Keywords, targeting and positioning can bring interest that doesn’t match what you actually want to sell.

03 CONVERSION

People are arriving, but they’re not taking the next step.

Messaging, trust, user experience and calls to action may be where the journey is breaking down.

THE GOAL Find where the journey breaks before spending more to feed it.
ECOMMERCE / ONLINE STORES

A good online store makes buying feel easy.

Great ecommerce removes friction, builds trust and makes it simple for customers to move from discovering a product to completing a purchase.

01 SHOPPING EXPERIENCE

Make buying effortless.

The fewer distractions and unnecessary steps between finding a product and checking out, the better.

02 CUSTOMER FIRST

Design around the customer.

Clear products, useful information and a shopping experience that feels natural across every device.

03 BUILT TO WORK

Build around the business.

Payments, shipping, products, integrations and management are set up around how you actually sell.

THE GOAL A store that feels simple for the customer and practical for the business behind it.
NEW WEBSITE

Start with the right foundation.

We design and build considered websites that make your business clear, credible and easy to choose — from the first click.

01 STRATEGY

Build the right foundation first.

We shape the structure around your business, your customers and what the website actually needs to achieve.

02 DESIGN

Make the business clear and credible.

Strong hierarchy, thoughtful design and clear messaging help people understand who you are and why they should choose you.

03 BUILD

Build something you can grow with.

Responsive, manageable and built around the functionality your business needs now — with room to evolve later.

THE GOAL A website that looks considered, communicates clearly and works properly for the business behind it.

Start with the problem. The right service usually becomes clearer from there.

More traffic isn’t always the answer — sometimes the website underneath it needs work first.

If people can’t find you, visibility may be the issue. If they find you but don’t act, it may be conversion.

A website can look good and still make it difficult for people to understand what to do next.

The best digital strategy usually starts by fixing the weakest part first.

Did you know?

Good SEO is not about getting more traffic for the sake of it. It’s about showing up when people are actively looking for what you offer.

Google needs to understand what each page is about. Clear services, locations, headings and internal links make that easier.

Pages should answer real questions, explain your services clearly and give people a reason to stay — not just repeat keywords.

For service businesses, appearing in the right locations and local searches can be one of the strongest ways to generate qualified leads.

Ranking is only half the job. If people land on a slow, confusing or unconvincing website, that traffic is unlikely to convert.

Paid ads stop when the budget stops. Strong organic visibility can keep bringing people to your business long after the initial optimisation work.

New Website

Start with the right foundation.

We design and build considered websites that make your business clear, credible and easy to choose — from the first click.

01 SEO
02 Google Ads
Best for
Long-term visibility and organic growth.
Reaching high-intent customers faster.
Timing
Builds momentum over time.
Can generate visibility almost immediately.
Investment
Invest in improving your website, content and authority.
Pay for targeted traffic while campaigns are running.
Long term
Strong work can continue bringing traffic over time.
Traffic generally stops when advertising stops.
Needs
A technically sound website with useful, relevant content.
Strong landing pages and accurate conversion tracking.
03
WHEN BOTH MAKE SENSE Use Ads for momentum. Build SEO for what comes next.

For many businesses, the strongest strategy is using Google Ads to capture demand now while SEO builds sustainable visibility over time.

Website Design

Good design should do more than look good.

We design websites that look good and work hard for the business behind them.

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 2 July 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Wild Heart Design (“Wild Heart”, “we”, “us” or “our”), registration number K2020678375, with its registered office at 92 Harpuisbos Street, Myburgh Park, Langebaan, Western Cape, 7357, South Africa.

By accepting a quotation, approving a proposal, paying an invoice, instructing us to begin work, or using any service supplied by Wild Heart, you (“the Client”, “you” or “your”) agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Scope of Services

Wild Heart provides website design and development, website maintenance, hosting-related services, website updates, search engine optimisation, Google Ads management, digital marketing and related creative or technical services.

The exact scope, pricing, deliverables, estimated timeline and exclusions for a specific project or service will be set out in the applicable quotation, proposal, invoice, email correspondence or service package.

Anything not expressly included in the agreed scope is excluded and may be quoted or billed separately.

2. Quotations, Scope Changes and Additional Work

Quotations are based on the information, requirements and scope provided by the Client at the time of quoting.

Any work outside the agreed scope, including additional pages, functionality, integrations, revisions, content changes, design changes, new requests, third-party troubleshooting, website recovery work, plugin conflicts or additional development, will be quoted separately or billed at our standard rate of R750 per hour, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Wild Heart may pause work while waiting for approval of additional costs or scope changes.

Estimated timelines are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Timelines may change due to Client delays, late content, changes in direction, third-party suppliers, hosting providers, plugin developers, platform changes or matters outside our reasonable control.

3. Website Project Payment Terms

Unless otherwise stated in writing, one-off website projects are billed as follows:

  • 50% deposit to secure the booking and begin the project;

  • 25% payment at the first design or build review stage;

  • 25% final payment before the website is made live or handed over.

The 50% deposit is non-refundable. It reserves production capacity, covers planning and commencement work, and confirms the Client’s commitment to the project.

We generally only issue the commencement invoice once the Client has confirmed that they have the necessary content, branding, access, information and basic requirements ready for the build. Once work has started, the deposit remains non-refundable if the Client delays, cancels, changes direction or does not complete the project.

Wild Heart may withhold handover, launch, files, credentials, website migration or final deliverables until all outstanding invoices have been paid in full.

4. Monthly Packages and Retainers

Monthly packages, maintenance plans, marketing retainers and recurring services are billed upfront for the applicable month.

All hosting services, maintenance plans, monthly packages, marketing retainers and other recurring services are collected via a Netcash debit order or PayFast recurring payment arrangement, unless Wild Heart agrees otherwise in writing.

By accepting a recurring service, the Client authorises Wild Heart and its approved payment providers to process the agreed recurring payment amount on the applicable billing date, subject to any required debit-order mandate, payment authorisation or payment-provider terms.

The Client must ensure that valid payment details are maintained and that sufficient funds are available for each scheduled payment. A failed, reversed, declined or cancelled recurring payment will be treated as an overdue invoice and may result in suspension, reactivation fees and any applicable bank or third-party charges in accordance with these Terms.

All recurring services require one full calendar month’s written notice to cancel. Cancellation notices must be sent to info@wildheartdesign.co.za.

Unused support, maintenance or retainer hours:

  • do not roll over into the next month;

  • do not accumulate;

  • cannot be exchanged for cash, refunds or credit;

  • may not be transferred to another service, project or Client.

The specific inclusions of each maintenance plan are outlined in the applicable package description, proposal or quotation. Work outside the included scope or hours will be quoted separately or billed at R975 per hour.

Priority response under a maintenance plan does not create a guaranteed response time, emergency support agreement or service-level agreement unless expressly agreed in writing.

5. Website Updates and Work on Existing Live Sites

Website updates, maintenance work, troubleshooting, bug fixes, changes to an existing live website, recovery work and technical support are quoted and invoiced upfront before work begins.

Where work cannot reasonably be quoted in advance because the issue requires investigation, Wild Heart may charge for diagnostic time at R750 per hour before providing a final estimate.

We are not responsible for issues caused by outdated software, unsupported plugins, previous developers, third-party code, unauthorised changes, client actions, compromised credentials, server limitations or software conflicts.

6. Overdue Accounts, Suspension and Reactivation

Invoices must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice.

Where an account remains unpaid for 14 days after the invoice due date, Wild Heart may suspend or restrict any associated services, including website hosting, website access, email hosting, domains, licences, maintenance, support and related services.

Suspension may result in a website, email service or related service becoming unavailable. Wild Heart will not be liable for any loss, interruption, lost emails, missed enquiries, lost revenue, reputational damage, data loss or other consequences arising from a suspension due to non-payment.

A R350 reactivation fee will be charged for each suspended service or account, in addition to all outstanding invoices and any applicable third-party costs.

Services will only be reinstated once all outstanding amounts, reactivation fees and any required third-party fees have cleared in full.

If an account remains unpaid or inactive for an extended period, Wild Heart may terminate the service and remove associated website files, backups, email data, databases or licences, subject to applicable law and the relevant upstream hosting provider’s terms. Clients are responsible for maintaining their own current backups and copies of important data.

7. Hosting, Domains and Email Services

Hosting, email, domains, SSL certificates and related technical services may depend on third-party suppliers, including our upstream hosting provider.

Where Wild Heart provides hosting or manages hosting on the Client’s behalf, the Client agrees to comply with the applicable upstream provider’s hosting, email, domain, acceptable-use and service terms, as amended from time to time.

Wild Heart cannot guarantee uninterrupted hosting, email delivery, domain availability, website uptime, server performance, backup availability, spam filtering, third-party email deliverability or the continued availability of any external service.

The Client is responsible for ensuring that all domain, hosting, email and licence invoices are paid on time. Failure to do so may result in suspension, non-renewal, expiry, loss of access, website downtime or email interruption.

Wild Heart is not responsible for losses caused by expired domains, unpaid hosting, expired email services, unpaid licences, third-party platform changes or unavailable third-party services.

8. Elementor Pro and Third-Party Licences

Websites that use Wild Heart’s Elementor Pro licence are subject to an annual Elementor Pro licence fee, unless the Client purchases and maintains their own valid Elementor Pro licence elsewhere.

The annual licence fee is payable every 12 months from the original activation or go-live date, unless otherwise stated in writing.

If the annual Elementor Pro licence fee is not paid, Wild Heart may remove or deactivate the licence from the Client’s website. This may cause sections of the website, templates, forms, styling, pop-ups or other functionality to stop working correctly.

Wild Heart will not be liable for any website issues, downtime, visual changes or functionality loss caused by the removal, expiry or non-renewal of Elementor Pro or any other third-party licence.

Any work required to restore, rebuild or repair a website after a licence has expired, been removed or become invalid will be quoted separately.

The Client remains responsible for all third-party costs, including but not limited to plugin licences, premium themes, fonts, stock imagery, payment gateways, booking platforms, email tools, CRM systems, API subscriptions, domain renewals, advertising spend and software subscriptions, unless expressly included in writing.

9. Website Maintenance, Security and Hacking

Websites rely on WordPress, themes, plugins, hosting software, browsers, integrations, APIs, licences and other third-party systems that change over time.

A maintenance plan helps reduce risk through updates, monitoring, backups and support, but no website, hosting environment or software system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, error-free, uninterrupted or immune from hacking, malware, spam, outages, software vulnerabilities or third-party failures.

If the Client does not maintain an active Wild Heart maintenance plan after go-live or handover, the Client assumes responsibility for:

  • software, theme and plugin updates;

  • backups and restoration;

  • website security;

  • user access and password security;

  • malware monitoring and removal;

  • plugin compatibility;

  • server and hosting management;

  • licence renewals;

  • ongoing technical upkeep.

Once a website has been handed over without an active maintenance agreement, Wild Heart is not responsible for any future hacking, malware, security breach, website error, downtime, data loss, compatibility problem, spam issue, broken functionality or recovery cost.

Where Wild Heart is engaged to assist with a hacked, compromised, outdated or broken website, all investigation, cleanup, recovery, migration, repair and remediation work will be quoted separately or billed at R975 per hour.

The Client must keep all usernames, passwords, payment details, administrator access and API keys secure. The Client must notify Wild Heart immediately if they suspect unauthorised access, compromise, lost credentials or suspicious website activity.

10. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to provide accurate, complete and lawful information, content, feedback, approvals, access credentials and materials required for Wild Heart to perform the services.

The Client is responsible for ensuring that all supplied text, images, logos, trademarks, videos, product information, prices, policies, legal notices and other content are accurate, lawful and owned or properly licensed by the Client.

The Client warrants that they have the right to use all materials supplied to Wild Heart and that those materials do not infringe the rights of any third party.

The Client indemnifies Wild Heart against claims, losses, costs, damages or legal expenses arising from content, materials, instructions, products, services or information supplied by the Client.

The Client is responsible for obtaining legal, financial, tax, regulatory, industry and compliance advice relevant to their business. This includes, where applicable, privacy policies, POPIA compliance, cookie notices, terms of sale, returns policies, delivery policies, product claims, consumer-law obligations, advertising disclosures and e-commerce requirements.

Wild Heart does not provide legal, tax, financial or regulatory advice.

11. Client Delays and Project Pauses

The Client must provide feedback, approvals, content and requested access within a reasonable time.

If the Client does not respond or provide the information needed to continue for 30 calendar days, Wild Heart may place the project on hold.

Projects placed on hold may be subject to revised timelines, re-quoting, updated pricing, a restart fee or rescheduling based on Wild Heart’s availability.

If a project remains inactive for an extended period, Wild Heart may close the project. Any work required to resume it will be subject to a new quotation and current rates.

12. Reviews, Approval and Go-Live

The Client is responsible for reviewing all website content, design, functionality, links, products, forms, pricing, contact details and settings before approving the website for launch.

Approval may be given by email, written message or any other written confirmation from the Client or an authorised representative.

Once the Client approves a stage of work, later changes may be treated as additional work and charged separately.

Wild Heart will take reasonable care in building and testing a website but cannot guarantee identical appearance or performance across every browser, screen size, operating system, device, plugin, email client or future software version.

13. Ownership and Intellectual Property

The Client will own the final website design and project-specific deliverables created for them only once all invoices and related fees have been paid in full.

Until full payment is received, all work, designs, files, code, concepts, content layouts and deliverables remain the property of Wild Heart.

Wild Heart retains ownership of its pre-existing materials, design systems, templates, frameworks, reusable code, plugins, processes, tools, internal documentation, methodologies, know-how and any materials created independently of the Client’s specific project.

Third-party software, fonts, themes, plugins, stock assets and licences remain subject to their own licence terms and are not transferred to the Client unless specifically stated in writing.

Unless agreed otherwise in writing before the project begins, Wild Heart may display completed work, the Client’s name, logo, website screenshots and project outcomes in its portfolio, social media, proposals, awards submissions and marketing materials.

14. Google Ads, SEO and Marketing Services

Google Ads management is available only for Clients with a minimum monthly advertising budget of R10,000, excluding Wild Heart’s management or setup fees.

Advertising spend is separate from Wild Heart’s service fees and is normally payable directly to the applicable advertising platform.

Wild Heart does not guarantee Google Ads approval, advertising account approval, campaign performance, leads, sales, search rankings, traffic, conversions, return on ad spend, revenue, platform access or any particular business result.

Search rankings, advertising performance and digital marketing outcomes are influenced by many factors outside Wild Heart’s control, including competition, budgets, market conditions, website quality, client response times, pricing, product quality, third-party platforms, algorithm changes and user behaviour.

15. Privacy and Personal Information

Where Wild Heart processes personal information on behalf of the Client, the Client remains responsible for determining the purpose and lawful basis for that processing, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

The Client is responsible for ensuring that their website, forms, mailing lists, booking systems, e-commerce systems and customer data practices comply with POPIA and any other applicable privacy or data-protection requirements.

Wild Heart will use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the services provided and will treat personal information accessed in the course of providing services as confidential.

Where Wild Heart becomes aware of a suspected security compromise involving personal information under the Client’s control, Wild Heart will notify the Client as soon as reasonably practicable. The Client remains responsible for legal notifications, regulator notifications and communications with affected individuals unless otherwise agreed in writing.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wild Heart will not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special or incidental loss or damage, including loss of profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, reputation, goodwill, sales, advertising spend, search rankings, email delivery, website traffic or business interruption.

Wild Heart’s total liability arising from any claim relating to a specific service will not exceed the total fees actually paid by the Client to Wild Heart for that affected service during the three months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where it cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

17. Termination

Wild Heart may suspend or terminate services immediately where the Client:

  • fails to make payment when due;

  • breaches these Terms;

  • uses services unlawfully or in a manner that threatens the security, performance or reputation of Wild Heart or its suppliers;

  • provides unlawful, infringing, harmful, abusive, fraudulent or misleading content;

  • fails to cooperate with reasonable technical, security or compliance requests.

Termination does not remove the Client’s obligation to pay all outstanding fees, third-party costs, completed work, committed costs or charges incurred before termination.

18. Force Majeure

Wild Heart will not be liable for delays, failures or interruptions caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including load shedding, internet failures, hosting outages, cyberattacks, third-party software failures, supplier failures, natural disasters, labour disruptions, government actions, illness, power outages or other unforeseen events.

19. Changes to These Terms

Wild Heart may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated Terms will apply to new projects, new services and future renewals from the date published. Where a material change affects an active recurring service, Wild Heart will provide reasonable notice where practical.

 20. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

The parties will first try to resolve any dispute in good faith through written communication.

If a dispute cannot be resolved, either party may refer the matter to a court with appropriate jurisdiction in the Western Cape, South Africa.

 21. General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

A failure by Wild Heart to enforce any right or provision does not waive that right or provision.

These Terms, together with the applicable quotation, proposal, invoice and written scope of work, form the agreement between Wild Heart and the Client.

VISIBILITY

Being good isn’t enough if the right people can’t find you.

SEO builds visibility over time. Google Ads can put you in front of people already searching sooner. The right starting point depends on your goals, timing and the website underneath both.

01 GET FOUND ORGANICALLY

SEO

Build stronger visibility in Google for the searches that matter to your business.

02 REACH DEMAND SOONER

Google Ads

Appear in front of high-intent customers while longer-term organic visibility develops.

03 THE FOUNDATION MATTERS

Your website still has to convert.

Traffic only helps if visitors understand what you offer, trust the business and know what to do next.

THE GOAL Not just more traffic. More of the right people finding you.

Did you know?

Updates aren’t just about new features. They often include important security and compatibility fixes.

A website can look fine on the front end while plugins, themes or PHP quietly fall out of date behind the scenes.

Regular maintenance helps catch small issues before they turn into broken forms, errors or downtime.

Keeping WordPress, themes and plugins updated reduces the number of known vulnerabilities sitting on the site.

Website maintenance is easier and cheaper when it’s proactive rather than emergency repair

A maintenance plan means someone is regularly checking the site instead of waiting for a client to notice something is wrong.

Ongoing updates also help keep the site compatible as browsers, WordPress and third-party tools change.

Larger maintenance plans give you room to improve the website continuously, not just keep it alive.

Did you know?

Your website is often the first place people decide how established your business feels.

A redesign isn’t always about changing everything. Sometimes clarity makes the biggest difference.

If your business has evolved, your website should evolve with it.

Strong positioning helps people understand why they should choose you — before they start comparing prices.

Good design should make things feel simpler, not just prettier.

RELEVANCE / DIAGNOSIS

More enquiries aren’t useful if they’re coming from the wrong people.

When leads are coming in but they’re not the right fit, we look at what is attracting them, what the website is communicating and whether the journey is qualifying people clearly enough.

01 SEARCH INTENT

Are you showing up for the right searches?

Broad keywords or poorly focused campaigns can bring traffic from people who were never likely to become customers.

02 POSITIONING

Is the website clear about who you’re really for?

Stronger messaging helps the right customers recognise the fit while giving the wrong ones less reason to enquire.

03 QUALIFICATION

Does the journey set the right expectations?

Services, pricing cues, location, process and clear forms can help qualify visitors before they reach your inbox.

04 QUALITY OVER VOLUME

The goal isn’t simply to generate more leads.

It’s to attract more of the people your business actually wants to work with.

THE GOAL Better targeting. Clearer positioning. Better-fit enquiries.
